What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of highly capable machine learning engineers to help them reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, devops, and sales to build a roadmap supporting the long-term vision.
• Oversee the full development cycle: data collection, labeling, model development, experimentation, training, and production deployment.
• Drive delivery for product milestones, ensuring quality metrics are achieved and new features are released.
• Participate in the technical design and architecture of AI products.
• Implement and manage security protocols, code reviews, and data maintenance best practices.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• 4+ years of experience as an ML engineer, specifically training large deep learning models with real-world data.
• 2+ years of experience managing machine learning teams.
• Deep knowledge in at least one focus area: Computer Vision, Audio, or NLP.
• Experience collaborating with product managers and labeling teams to deliver model improvements.
• Location: Must be based in Seattle.
