What you will do

• Develop and implement functional strategies for regulatory compliance, risk management, and product quality aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead, coach, and mentor US- and Asia-based Quality Engineering teams to build organizational capability and technical excellence.
• Design and lead communication strategies to align cross-functional partners including Marketing, Design, and Manufacturing.
• Define and build the enterprise data strategy for quality analytics to enable evidence-based business decisions.
• Shape enterprise approaches to root cause analysis and risk management using tools like FMEA, FTA, and PHA.
• Foster a culture of regulatory agility and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or quality, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), risk management, and human factors/usability engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in consumer product regulatory standards, specifically for toys or children’s products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and statistical analysis software like Minitab.
• Must be based in or able to work in El Segundo, California.
