What you will do

• Define and execute the strategic communications roadmap, owning all external PR efforts and corporate messaging.
• Identify and secure earned media opportunities in top-tier business, tech, and AI publications.
• Produce high-quality content including press releases, blog posts, and executive bylines.
• Build and maintain key media relationships and serve as the primary contact for media inquiries.
• Collaborate with product, legal, and engineering teams to surface compelling stories and ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage communications for major milestones, including product launches and funding announcements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in PR or corporate communications, preferably in fast-paced tech or AI environments.
• Proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Strong news judgment and understanding of media cycles and journalist priorities.
• Ability to operate independently and strategically in a startup environment.
• Must be based in San Francisco for on-site work.
