What you will do

• Design and build a central automation and reporting platform in Python.
• Develop a custom data orchestration engine to sync data across platforms and storage tiers.
• Deliver world-class self-service tooling for non-technical users.
• Implement a tiered storage strategy to maximize GPU farm efficiency and minimize costs.
• Build proactive monitoring, health checking, and operational dashboards.
• Maintain CI/CD quality gates and infrastructure-as-code discipline.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Expert-level Python with a proven track record of designing large codebases and building platforms from scratch.
• Significant experience designing advanced CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design modular, maintainable systems with clean APIs and contracts.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Must be based in the London Area for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go and/or Rust.
• Knowledge of CockroachDB or similar distributed SQL databases.
• HPC or storage domain knowledge.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal, Airflow, or Prefect.
• Frontend development experience with React.
