What you will do

  • Manage A&D programs from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineering, manufacturing, and customer personnel.
  • Develop program strategy across a portfolio of customers to identify development opportunities and technology risks.
  • Draft proposals, statements of work, and track performance using internal program management tools.
  • Maintain relationships with defense primes, subcontractors, and DoD stakeholders to facilitate program success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of program management experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Active Secret Clearance desired; Top Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Technical background in aerospace structures and familiarity with structural analysis tools such as FEA.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition cycles and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Experience supporting analysis and documentation for airworthiness certifications (AFTC or FAA).

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous technical leadership experience, such as Chief Engineer or Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
