What you will do

• Develop and monitor program plans and schedules to ensure cost, schedule, and task completion.
• Direct execution through functional departments to fulfill contractual requirements and profitability objectives.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact for all program-related communications and reporting.
• Coordinate and manage the preparation of presentation materials for internal and customer reviews.
• Prepare regular status reports for management and customers, highlighting program issues and risks.
• Support the preparation of proposals and change orders, including fact-finding and negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, preferably Engineering.
• 5+ years of program management experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Must be able to access United States Export Controlled information.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Nice to have

• Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Experience managing Development Programs.
• Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience working with DoD customers and knowledge of DoD contractual terms.
• PMI PMP certification.
