Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

What you will do

• Design high-level and low-level architectures for web and mobile backend applications with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Establish hybrid-cloud governance across Azure and AWS, including environment segregation, organizational structures, and least-privilege access.
• Architect secure network topologies using hub-and-spoke designs, Private Link, Transit Gateways, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Data Management, and Corporate Risk teams to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and central bank mandates.
• Drive FinOps and total-cost-of-ownership optimization through cloud SKU selection, tagging policies, and departmental billing controls.
• Mentor Platform and DevOps engineers and ensure Terraform implementations align with architectural blueprints.

Requirements

• Professional-level certification in AWS or Azure, such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Deep expertise in VPC/VNET peering, VPN tunnels, Direct Connect or ExpressRoute, and advanced load balancing.
• Experience implementing Zero-Trust architectures, large-scale IAM, and encryption for data at rest and in transit.
• Extensive banking-domain experience, including audit trails, data residency, and risk mitigation.
• Mastery of microservices, containerization with Kubernetes, EKS, or AKS, and serverless architectures.
• Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders while maintaining technical credibility with engineering teams.

• Ability to translate technical debt and risks into business-impact language.
• Mentoring experience with DevOps and Engineering teams through peer reviews and workshops.
