What you will do

• Own and oversee all areas of the AP ledger, including bill processing and vendor statement reconciliation.
• Drive efficiency and standardization in month-end close processes through automation and process improvements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for vendor and internal stakeholder queries.
• Ensure accurate recording and recovery of VAT/GST/HST in compliance with regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior AP team members to ensure high-quality output.
• Partner with purchasing leaders to influence financial discipline and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and optimizing financial close processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, automation, and scalability within AP.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, ideally within a software or SaaS environment.
