What you will do

• Conduct red team operations and penetration testing across AI systems, infrastructure, and applications.
• Collaborate directly with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and close security gaps.
• Research and map emerging attack surfaces specific to AI, including prompt injection and model poisoning.
• Build automated tools and frameworks to scale security testing and measurement.
• Develop security metrics to track the effectiveness of the security program.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional security engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with offensive security, red teaming, or vulnerability research.
• Proficiency in assessing cloud infrastructure security, specifically AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Ability to develop custom security automation using Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Strong expertise in analyzing and exploiting web application vulnerabilities.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in McLean, VA

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML system security, such as training pipelines and inference systems.
• Experience in fintech or financial services security.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment.
• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, or GXPN.
