Salary: $180,000–$240,000 USD

What you will do

• Write low-latency financial software for order book matching and trading engines.
• Develop open-source blockchain-based code powering the hirify.global protocol.
• Build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs for frontend and programmatic traders.
• Create open-source TypeScript and Python clients for on-chain smart contract interaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY.
• Minimum 2+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) with 3 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
• Proven track record of writing secure, efficient, and high-quality code.
• Ability to quickly master new technologies and domains.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance or security space.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Experience building blockchain applications or smart contracts.
