Program Manager (Federal IT)

What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for task coordination between delivery teams and government stakeholders.
• Lead project initiation, planning, and definition of objectives.
• Translate business requirements into technical implementation plans.
• Manage contractor assignments, labor burn, and delivery schedules.
• Identify and mitigate technical and project-related risks.
• Liaise between technical teams, contracting officers, and executive leadership to manage expectations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in program or project management within federal IT or cybersecurity.
• Must meet federal screening and suitability requirements (Public Trust Tier 2).
• Strong ability to quantify and communicate recommendations in written and verbal formats.
• Working knowledge of IT and cybersecurity capabilities.
• Experience with project management tools and budget/schedule development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
