TL;DR

Contract Manager - Sales (SaaS): Preparing, reviewing and negotiating sales contracts and legal documents for the Academic & Government team with an accent on commercial compliance and risk assessment. Focus on balancing contractual risks with commercial needs and optimizing the contracting process across LATAM and European regions.

Location: Must be based in Madrid, Spain (Hybrid options available for Madrid and Barcelona)

Salary: €31,600 - €52,600

What you will do

  • Draft and negotiate sales contracts, amendments, renewals, and order forms based on approved templates.
  • Identify non-standard terms and contracting risks early to support Legal and Sales teams.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from intake to execution, tracking blockers and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Support to finalize commercial requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and leverage CLM tools and AI to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze process bottlenecks to improve templates and standardization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Contract Management, commercial contracting, or legal operations.
  • Experience in SaaS, licensing, subscription, or information services.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
  • Ability to work from the Madrid office.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in Portuguese.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools such as Conga or Luminance.
