What you will do

• Manage and mentor the Colombia engineering team, overseeing technical growth and code quality.
• Drive architecture decisions for agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and production automation.
• Stay hands-on with complex client builds, from LLM orchestration to cloud infrastructure.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete system designs and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with clients to explain technical trade-offs and system progress.
• Establish engineering standards through rigorous code reviews and pairing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building production LLM-powered systems.
• Expert-level Python proficiency and strong full-stack fundamentals.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep knowledge of the modern AI stack: prompt engineering, evaluation, embeddings, and vector search.
• Fluent English with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in Colombia with availability during US business hours.
