Salary: CA$187K – CA$231K (Canada) / $212.5K – $262.5K (New York) + Equity

What you will do
- Lead the Credit & Spend Management tribe as a cross-functional GM, managing 6-8 direct reports across risk, product, engineering, data, and design.
- Develop 's in-house credit engine and monitoring infrastructure to minimize third-party underwriting dependency.
- Define and own credit policy, underwriting strategy, and the full lending portfolio lifecycle from origination to charge-off.
- Drive the growth and iteration of the charge card proposition through data-driven experimentation.
- Manage the credit and debit P&L, balancing sustainable growth with risk and capital appetite.
- Collaborate with banking partners and regulators to ensure alignment on strategy and compliance.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in credit strategy and analytics, specifically owning underwriting policies and models.
- Proven track record of building or scaling credit products in fintech or early-stage (0→1) environments.
- Technical proficiency with credit infrastructure, APIs, and vendor models.
- Experience incorporating alternative data sources (e.g., Plaid, accounting integrations) into underwriting.
- Experience interacting with bank partners, regulators, or examiners.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Toronto, Boston, New York, San Francisco, or Vancouver.
