What you will do

• Perform field data collection activities for a variety of surveying projects.
• Execute work safely in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
• Utilize and maintain surveying tools and equipment for measuring, sighting, and leveling.
• Apply technical principles and procedures to meet specific project requirements.
• Provide high-quality customer service during field assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and transport equipment across rugged terrain.
• Familiarity with land surveying terms and field equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Minimum of 2 years of land surveying experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) or other transportation projects.
