What you will do

• Define, document, and maintain business definitions, data attributes, and enterprise standards.
• Review and validate data profiling results to identify and resolve data quality pain points.
• Plan and execute data quality remediation activities while monitoring their effectiveness.
• Provide context on dataset usage, creation, and dependencies across enterprise systems.
• Partner with System Owners and Technical Stewards to validate data lineage and architecture.
• Act as the primary escalation point for risks preventing datasets from achieving required maturity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in data governance, data stewardship, or advanced data analysis.
• Deep understanding of metadata management and data lifecycles in large, complex organizations.
• Proven track record of performing root-cause analysis and managing technical remediation workflows.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
• Experience supporting control readiness or audit-compliant data frameworks.
