What you will do

• Lead the creation and execution of a new, one-hour broadcast from concept to air.
• Craft compelling, high-impact rundowns that resonate with local viewers.
• Write and produce engaging content for both broadcast and streaming platforms.
• Drive aggressive, responsive breaking news coverage with urgency and accuracy.
• Produce dynamic, polished live broadcasts under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and digital teams to define the voice and style of the newscast.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience producing in a medium to large television newsroom.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, breaking news environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
