What you will do

• Oversee daily community engagement across comments and member groups to ensure an inclusive environment.
• Facilitate thoughtful discussions and maintain a brand-aligned community voice.
• Execute community programming such as AMAs, watch events, and live engagement experiences.
• Manage real-time engagement during major news events and high-visibility moments.
• Coordinate moderation workflows and partner with third-party vendors to optimize tools.
• Analyze engagement metrics and provide actionable insights to editorial and product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in community management, audience engagement, or digital media.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Strong written communication skills for professional, brand-aligned audience engagement.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a dynamic, real-time news environment.
• Experience applying community guidelines in nuanced or politically sensitive situations.
