TL;DR

Customer Relationship Specialist: Owning customer relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth with an accent on seamless order-to-production order experience and cross-functional coordination. Focus on proactive risk communication, manufacturability guidance, and capturing voice-of-customer insights to improve offerings and service levels.

Location: Hybrid (onsite in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Salary: $57,000–$76,100 per year

What you will do

  • Support a portfolio of B2B accounts by building multi-threaded relationships with engineers, buyers, customer success, and supply chain stakeholders
  • Provide consultative guidance on manufacturability, materials, tolerances, lead times, and trade-offs; coordinate with Applications Engineering for DFM as needed
  • Monitor active orders, proactively communicate risks, and coordinate with operations, quality, and logistics to resolve issues and meet SLAs
  • Capture voice-of-customer insights and collaborate with product and operations to improve offerings, lead times, and service
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships and manage account/order activity and trends; support client meetings and ongoing projects
  • Contribute to process documentation, playbooks, and continuous improvement; maintain project/program plans, timelines, and deliverables

Requirements

  • Medical manufacturing OR medical industry experience required
  • 2–5 years in a fast-paced client-facing role (account management, customer success, or inside sales) in B2B; manufacturing or technical services preferred
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills; proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to balance multiple priorities and think strategically
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency (green card), or refugee/asylee status required; temporary visas (e.g., E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, OPT) are not eligible
