What you will do

• Assist in compiling research and maintaining on-air updates during live broadcasts.
• Manage anchor schedules, travel, and daily administrative tasks.
• Coordinate graphic elements and locate photos for broadcast.
• Pitch stories and guests for the show.
• Manage daily content publishing for the show website and social media platforms.
• Track and report weekly metrics for digital content performance.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• At least one year of news production experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with WordPress content management.
• Ability to work flexible hours and under tight deadline pressure.

Nice to have

• Excellent knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
• Knowledge of Avid/Interplay and iNews.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Understanding of SEO/AIO best practices.
