What you will do

• Lead quarterly and annual income tax provision processes under ASC 740.
• Manage U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, including consolidated returns and franchise tax.
• Ensure SOX compliance for all income tax accounting processes and controls.
• Oversee indirect tax filings, including sales, use, and personal property taxes.
• Research complex tax issues and identify planning opportunities for credits and incentives.
• Support IRS and state tax audits by drafting responses and managing information requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive corporate tax experience with a mix of federal, state, and ASC 740 responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and multi-state income tax compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and tax compliance/provision software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or Master’s in Taxation (MST).
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with indirect and property tax regulations.
