Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year

What you will do

• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and identify eligible deductions and credits to optimize tax savings for clients.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tax projects.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and the implications of new tax legislation.
• Manage client expectations, deliverables, and engagement timelines.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for tax review procedures and workflow.

Requirements

• CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in reviewing and preparing tax returns.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.
• Experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency with computer software and tax preparation tools.
• Must be based in Scottsdale, AZ and work according to Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Nice to have

• Experience with compiled and reviewed financial statements.
• Proficiency with ClickUp, CCH/Engagement, and QuickBooks.
