Salary: $120,200 – $145,200 USD

What you will do

• Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Edge network equipment across multiple global geographies.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network infrastructure problems.
• Install and maintain network hardware in remote co-location facilities.
• Manage network operating system patches, software upgrades, and routine hardware configurations.
• Collaborate with service providers to deploy and maintain transport circuits.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure network stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Solid understanding of Cisco NX-OS and BGP routing protocol.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through to completion.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work onsite in Carlsbad, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Arista EOS, EIGRP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and VPC.
• Knowledge of load balancers like F5 LTM or A10 ADC.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools like Splunk or Elasticsearch.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
