What you will do
- Run annual and quarterly planning, goal-setting, and weekly/monthly business reviews; hold and maintain the planning calendar.
- Drive budget and headcount planning using Marketing Ops tracking and reporting; own trade-off conversations as priorities shift mid-quarter.
- Turn VP of Brand priorities into executable plans and maintain focus when new fires start.
- Coordinate major programs across brand, editorial, design, product marketing, demand gen, and integrated marketing to avoid collisions and stalled work.
- Represent marketing in cross-functional planning with sales, product, and finance to ensure commitments are realistic and dependencies are visible.
- Produce leadership-facing materials (board updates, all-hands content, exec readouts) that are clear and honest.
Requirements
- 10+ years of operating experience in a marketing org in a Chief of Staff, business operations, or senior program-operations role.
- Hands-on understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing in a B2B context; able to discuss pipeline and where motions break.
- Comfort with marketing and pipeline metrics and running a budget; can interpret dashboards and challenge inconsistencies.
- Proven track record bringing order to a fast, complex org without slowing execution.
- Clear writing and direct communication; ability to hold a room of senior stakeholders to a plan.
- Must be able to work remotely (remote-friendly role).

Salary: $155,000–$240,000 USD (United States) or $220,000–$270,000 CAD (Canada)
