Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 USD + 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop and ship features for the ClearanceJobs web application, including candidate search and matching tools.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of product features from scoping through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to align technical solutions with the product vision.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards to reduce technical debt.
• Mentor peers and elevate the technical abilities of the engineering team.

Requirements

• Proficiency with VueJS, TypeScript, Laravel, and PHP 8.
• Experience with AWS core services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, CloudFront).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and SSO.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Recruitment, HR, or ATS domain concepts.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time features.
• Background with large dataset rendering, table virtualization, and search-heavy UIs.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) effectively.
