Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Build and own features end-to-end across the full stack.
• Develop clean, testable, and well-structured code to ensure high product quality and performance.
• Contribute to the migration of the backend from PHP/Laravel toward Node.js and Go.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using TDD and CI/CD practices.
• Scale a high-growth product to improve pet wellness nationwide.
• Shape architecture and influence the engineering roadmap (for Staff level).

Requirements

• Strong fullstack experience (frontend and backend).
• Proficiency in writing clean, testable, and structured code.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with scaling high-growth products.
• Must be based in or able to work from Sydney or Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js, JavaScript, and TailwindCSS.
• Experience with PHP, Laravel, Node.js, or Go.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright for test automation.
