What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C++ and TypeScript.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and optimize browser-based GUIs for enhanced user experience.
• Support the monorepo build and manage deployment of containerized systems to Kubernetes on GCP.
• Provide strategic direction on new technologies to ensure the platform remains industry-leading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features while resolving software defects.
• Evolve the code generation pipeline and improve engine replication and recovery design.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience managing small to medium teams.
• Expertise in C++ (up to C++26) and TypeScript using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Several years of experience specifically within financial markets.
• Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia for a hybrid work arrangement

• Interest or proficiency in Rust.
