What you will do

• Plan, design, lead, and execute technical solutions and improvements for Drive’s product and platform development.
• Set technical standards and lead from the front across architecture, development, documentation, quality, and application performance.
• Develop modern, scalable full stack web applications and reusable component libraries using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain APIs (REST or GraphQL) and standalone applications using Laravel and related tooling.
• Implement data-layer solutions using SQL/NoSQL databases with ORM patterns (e.g., Eloquent) and optimize database queries.
• Improve reliability and performance using caching strategies, performance profiling, and practical DevOps principles (automation, CI/CD, observability).

Requirements

• Hands-on full stack development experience with PHP, WordPress, and Laravel.
• Hands-on experience building modern, scalable web applications and reusable component libraries with React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing APIs (REST or GraphQL) and standalone applications using Laravel and Horizon.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and comfort using an ORM such as Eloquent.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications with at least one cloud vendor such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience building high-traffic, secure, available, scalable, and cost-efficient systems; ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
