What you will do

• Identify and shape growth opportunities with large Texas agencies such as DPS, TDEM, TDCJ, and DIR.
• Serve as the primary face of the company to state and local officials, influencers, and third-party advisors.
• Map Texas strategic priorities in public safety and AI governance to create actionable go-to-market pathways.
• Convert policy developments, funding opportunities, and procurement routes into revenue-driving initiatives.
• Develop executive-level briefings, GTM plans, and proposals to communicate the operational impact of the technology.
• Manage external partners, lobbyists, and consultants to accelerate adoption across the state.

Requirements

• 7+ years in government partnerships, public-sector business development, or state-level strategy within Texas.
• Intimate understanding of challenges facing the public safety community and state/local government broadly.
• Proven ability to turn government priorities and legislative windows into commercial opportunities.
• Strong existing relationships with Texas state agencies and familiarity with their decision-making processes.
• Executive-level verbal and written communication and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible narratives for lawmakers.
