What you will do

• Own the architecture and evolution of critical reliability systems and frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end engineering projects to improve availability, scalability, and failure recovery.
• Develop observability, alerting, and automated remediation tools for supported systems.
• Conduct deep root-cause investigations as a subject-matter expert during incident response.
• Ship production code in Python and Go to reduce operational toil and harden production readiness.
• Collaborate with platform teams to integrate reliability best practices into new features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar production languages.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with modern observability stacks including metrics, tracing, and SLI/SLO practices.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.

Nice to have

• Background operating or building large-scale AI or GPU-accelerated infrastructure.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering, capacity planning, or DR/BCP.
• Experience building internal automation frameworks for high-availability cloud operations.
