What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, horizontal and vertical lathes, and machining centers.
• Interpret blueprints, process documentation, and setup sheets to produce precision components.
• Establish machine reference points, offsets, and manage tooling setups.
• Perform trial runs, program prove-outs, and secondary operations including deburring.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and gages.
• Handle materials using hoists and cranes and perform routine machine maintenance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of CNC machining or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with proof of citizenship (e.g., Passport, Birth Certificate).
• Ability to work in compliance with Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NOFORN) regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
