What you will do
- Lead merchant migration projects from third-party acquirers to the VMS PayFac platform.
- Manage the onboarding and integration of new reseller and software partners into the payments ecosystem.
- Drive compliance and regulatory initiatives including FCA audit readiness, ISO 27001, and PCI programs.
- Coordinate technical integrations with payment gateways, terminal providers, and acquiring partners.
- Lead cross-functional projects for settlement, reconciliation, and payment operations optimization.
- Develop project plans, RAID logs, and maintain comprehensive stakeholder reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience within payments, fintech, merchant acquiring, or regulated financial services.
- Deep understanding of payment processing, merchant onboarding (KYC/KYB), AML, and card scheme environments.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be based in the UK.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working with payment gateways, acquiring banks, or embedded payment platforms.
- Experience supporting go-to-market launches or partner enablement initiatives.
