Compensation: $154.5K – $256.2K + Equity

What you will do

• Drive media coverage targeting top-tier outlets, podcasts, and newsletters in defense, tech, and energy.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, podcasters, and media gatekeepers.
• Coordinate investor amplification campaigns during major company milestones.
• Develop talking points and prepare executives for high-stakes media appearances.
• Monitor the media landscape and manage crisis communications for the company and industry.
• Track and report on media metrics, sentiment, and share of voice against competitors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in media relations, communications, or PR.
• Proven success securing feature coverage and booking executives on top-tier podcasts and broadcast media.
• Existing network of relationships with journalists and media creators.
• Experience preparing spokespeople for high-stakes interviews.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
• Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with business, defense, energy, or technology media creators.
• Experience with nuclear energy communications and its unique sensitivities.
• Prior work with defense technology companies.
