What you will do

• Lead the monthly financial close process, reviewing journals and ensuring high-quality reconciliations.
• Manage global tax compliance, transfer pricing, and VAT filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, ensuring readiness and resolution of findings.
• Oversee multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation and ensure statutory reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with FP&A to align accounting actuals with planning and board reporting requirements.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to the accounting team to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Must be available to start immediately with minimal onboarding.
• Must be able to work on-site in Merelbeke, Belgium 2-3 days per week.
• 8-12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS 15, Belgian GAAP, and multi-jurisdictional tax regulations.
• Proven track record in a PE-backed or global SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax, preferably with ACCA, CPA, or RA qualification.

• Prior experience in interim or consultancy roles.
