TL;DR

Location: New York, NY. Hybrid: in-person attendance at least three days per week required

What you will do

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, including carve-outs for private equity and asset-based lenders.
  • Perform financial due diligence on key areas of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Analyze operational data, net working capital, debt, and debt-like items to identify risks and business drivers.
  • Draft Quality of Earnings reports highlighting financial findings and sustainable profit drivers.
  • Design tailored reports regarding normalized earnings, valuation model assumptions, and borrowing base calculations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates while collaborating with partners on business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2 to 6 years of related experience in consulting or transaction advisory services.
  • Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and SEC Reporting.
  • Must be based in New York, NY.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • CPA certification or being in the process of obtaining it is preferred.
