What you will do

• Design and evolve frontend frameworks, tooling, and architectural patterns for scalable React applications.
• Improve client-side performance and reliability by identifying latency issues and establishing high platform standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape platform investments and implement innovative technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster team growth.
• Own system health and quality, including participation in on-call and first responder rotations.
• Write architecture briefs, conduct code experiments, and build prototypes to achieve planetary scale.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7-9+ years of experience in software engineering with proven production software delivery.
• Strong practical skills in modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience building and scaling large React applications, including shared platforms and architectural patterns.
• Experience with server-side rendering architectures and API design (REST, GraphQL, BFF).
• Proven track record in performance optimization and latency reduction for consumer-facing web applications.
