What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing, while optimizing system performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering best practices through code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain a highly available engineering platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Bellevue, WA (3 days/week in office).
• 8+ years of experience in modern Object-Oriented programming.
• Expertise in designing and resolving issues in large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in functional domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience designing infrastructure for LLM deployment, orchestration, or real-time AI inference.
• Proficiency with AI code-assistance tools like Windsurf, Cursor, or Claude.
• Exposure to DevOps automation workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
