Salary: $154,000 - $220,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing, while optimizing system performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering best practices through code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain a highly available engineering platform.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Bellevue, WA (3 days/week in office).
- 8+ years of experience in modern Object-Oriented programming.
- Expertise in designing and resolving issues in large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in functional domains.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience designing infrastructure for LLM deployment, orchestration, or real-time AI inference.
- Proficiency with AI code-assistance tools like Windsurf, Cursor, or Claude.
- Exposure to DevOps automation workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
