Location: Hybrid in Markham, Ontario (minimum 3 days per week at Markham Elevation Center)

Salary: $90,900 – $136,400

What you will do

• Develop software functionality for low voltage devices using embedded C in a Scrum environment.
• Implement algorithms for power distribution features based on Behavioral Technical Specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve functionality rollout failures.
• Author and modify test scripts in C and Python to assess software products.
• Create comprehensive test plans and robust automation using the Robot Framework.
• Ensure compliance with functional, safety, and software best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 2-5+ years of experience in embedded software development or testing.
• Proficiency in Python and embedded C, including source code debugging.
• Experience with Trace 32, JIRA, GIT, Rhapsody, and Scaled Agile Framework.
• Experience with Software-in-the-loop (SIL) or controller virtualization.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and dSPACE ControlDesk.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) and tools like CANoe or CANape.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow and CppUTest.
• Knowledge of low voltage infrastructure and battery systems.
