TL;DR

What you will do

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis on product returns and reported defects.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Global Quality teams to resolve customer complaints and implement product improvements.
  • Support new product launches through specialized quality monitoring and high-priority investigations.
  • Manage and document complaint cases using Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Implement new tools and processes for system-level troubleshooting and symptom reproduction.
  • Ensure compliance with quality documentation and change control processes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Minnesota (Not Negotiable)
  • Engineering degree in electrical engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in hands-on product failure analysis within consumer electronics, microelectronics, or high-tech medical products.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and office environment.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with quality methodologies such as A3, FMEA, NCR, and CAPA.
  • Knowledge of regulated environments (ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001, FDA QSR).
  • Data analysis experience.
