TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Identity, Fintech): Migrating identity services to a new strategic platform to secure access for millions of customers with an accent on CIAM solutions and delivery efficiency. Focus on building cloud-native applications using Typescript and React on AWS, implementing OAuth 2/OIDC flows, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Home Based / Hybrid (Bristol). Must have existing UK work authorization; sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain cloud-native applications using Typescript and React.
  • Develop AWS internal services utilizing both serverless and container-based infrastructure.
  • Drive architectural decisions and document technical solutions for identity services.
  • Establish high automated test coverage and ensure secure, performant code.
  • Mentor peers and collaborate with security and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
  • Improve CI/CD processes and evangelize engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Professional experience with Typescript, AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Proven track record of developing React-based JavaScript SPAs.
  • Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2 Framework, Open ID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Tokens.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (ForgeRock).
  • Experience with GraphQL and related technologies.
  • Ability to understand Java and/or PHP code.
