What you will do

• Design and evolve maintainable software systems balancing product needs and operational reliability.
• Implement AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate development, testing, and debugging.
• Modernize existing systems incrementally to reduce technical debt without compromising business continuity.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and design teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Debug complex issues across application and infrastructure layers to find durable root-cause fixes.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to code/design reviews to improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Strong professional experience using AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows.
• Expertise in architectural and systems design, including scalability and maintainability.
• Proficiency in React and strongly typed backend ecosystems (Rust, Go, or TypeScript).
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, production-grade, and testable code.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring other engineers and providing technical coaching.
• Track record of modernizing legacy systems through low-risk incremental changes.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and production performance tuning.
