What you will do

• Set up and operate vertical mills and tracer-type milling machines.
• Perform a full range of milling operations on diverse materials.
• Interpret technical drawings and perform difficult layouts with minimal guidance.
• Inspect work for defects and unusual conditions using specialized equipment.
• Develop new machining methods and techniques as required.
• Maintain compliance with FAA safety-sensitive work regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Mill Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to understand verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
• Proficiency in basic shop mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to pass and participate in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
