What you will do

• Define and own the product strategy and outcome-based roadmap for the Energy Utility Platform, including market access and procurement.
• Execute hands-on product management by writing specifications, running discovery sprints, and prioritizing backlogs.
• Develop innovative energy products for direct marketing, expanded flexibility participation, and new customer market access.
• Collaborate with Energy Operations and Engineering to ensure product decisions are grounded in market and regulatory reality.
• Translate complex German energy regulations (MaKo, grid fee structures) into actionable product requirements.
• Mentor a growing team of Product Managers and contribute to portfolio-level strategy decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in energy, utilities, or similarly regulated infrastructure products.
• Proven track record of owning product strategy and making high-level "where to play / how to win" decisions.
• Deep understanding of energy markets, tariff structures, energy trading, or energy retail operations.
• Experience driving complex platform builds in regulated environments and coordinating multiple engineering teams.
• Must be based in Germany or willing to relocate.
• Exceptional communication skills in English; German is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy trading, flexibility marketing, or balancing markets (TSO/DSO interaction).
• Knowledge of specific regulatory frameworks such as EnWG, MaKo, REMIT, or MsbG.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems, IoT data pipelines, and forecasting architectures.
• Previous experience building 0→1 products in regulated industries.
