What you will do

• Develop and maintain mission-critical financial platforms focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
• Drive containerization initiatives using Kubernetes to modernize application architecture.
• Build and optimize backend services and APIs using C# and Java.
• Collaborate with traders and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver innovative features.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and active participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Integrate core systems with third-party services for seamless data exchange across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in backend development.
• Expert proficiency in C# and experience with MS SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, gRPC, GraphQL, and cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments with global teams.
• Must be based in Zurich.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for full-stack contributions.
• Experience with WPF for building complex desktop applications.
• Background in the financial services sector with knowledge of regulatory and low-latency requirements.
