Location: Hybrid in Geneva or Paris (Office First: 3 core days in office, up to 30% WFH)

What you will do

• Ensure operational excellence of storage systems and their interactions with other platform services.
• Build resilient, massively-scalable solutions for millions of users in collaboration with Architects and Backend Engineers.
• Partner with SRE teams to ensure the storage back-end meets critical business and reliability requirements.
• Create technical designs and implement enhancements to further develop the storage platform.
• Document back-end capabilities to ensure proper internal use and maintenance.

Requirements

• Deep experience with back-end development in C++, Go, Rust, or PHP.
• Proven track record of building complex production systems.
• Experience with profiling methods and tools.
• Ability to lead team initiatives from discovery to production.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and high-level cryptography concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with storage systems such as Ceph, Seaweed, or Tape.
• Operational experience as an SRE or on-call, specifically diagnosing complex problems in critical systems.
