TL;DR

Operational Oversight Manager (Fintech): Ensuring the effective operation of the Trustee Oversight function and SIPP administration with an accent on risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance. Focus on leading and developing the team, conducting root cause analysis of operational exceptions, and implementing robust controls.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester). Minimum of 50% of working time per month must be spent in the office.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line oversight of SIPP Trustee operational activities, ensuring controls and governance manage risk and meet regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor key SIPP administration processes, including benefits, contributions, and transfers.
  • Identify, assess, and record SIPP Trustee risks while maintaining effective management information (MI).
  • Perform root cause analysis on exceptions and trends to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and market developments to provide analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead and develop the oversight team, fostering accountability and managing resources for cost-effective completion of activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams within a financial services environment.
  • CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in timely escalation and effective time management.
