TL;DR

Principal Software Engineer (Embedded/AUTOSAR): Developing and integrating IOC software for Telematics Control Units (TCUs) with an accent on the full AUTOSAR stack and low-level driver optimization. Focus on configuring MCAL/BSW modules, implementing diagnostic protocols (UDS), and ensuring reliable CAN communication within automotive systems.

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

  • Develop IOC software for TCUs across the full AUTOSAR stack (MCAL, BSW, RTE, SW-C).
  • Configure and integrate AUTOSAR modules using DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer.
  • Implement and optimize low-level drivers, CDDs, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Perform CAN simulation, testing, and diagnostic validation using CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANdela.
  • Support system-level integration and resolve End-Of-Line (EOL) testing issues to validate software behavior.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong system-level embedded software expertise and advanced C programming skills.
  • Hands-on experience with the AUTOSAR Classic software stack (MCAL, BSW, RTE, SW-C).
  • Practical experience with automotive-grade microcontrollers such as RH850 or S32K.
  • Solid knowledge of automotive peripherals (UART, SPI, CAN, ADC, PWM) and UDS diagnostic protocols.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of HSM (Hardware Security Module), including secure boot and cryptographic services.
  • Previous experience working on Telematics projects.
  • Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Automatic Control.
