What you will do

  • Draw, specify, inspect, and order photolithography masks for various toolsets (Suss Aligner, Nikon, ASML).
  • Apply CAD transformations (sizing, curvature, linear shifts) and generate designs from sketches.
  • Maintain complex CAD libraries with over 150 layers to ensure high transducer yields.
  • Coordinate with photomask vendors to qualify toolsets, revise specifications, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Wafer Product, R&D, and Slider Advanced Air-Bearing teams.

Requirements

  • Project experience involving multi-layer CAD usage and solutions.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Bloomington, MN, US.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • BS degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to have

  • Experience in wafer or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, DraftSight, Solidworks, Pyxis, or L-Edit.
  • Experience using SAP for purchasing and ordering photomasks.
  • Ability to extract and analyze data using SQL and Excel.
