TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) (Azure/C#): Building and optimizing a modern, cloud-first architecture for core investment data solutions with an accent on transitioning from legacy systems to Azure. Location: Hybrid (Boston or Pittsburgh, US). Applicants must be within a commutable distance (within 2 hours or 80 miles) of these offices and must have permanent residency as a US citizen or a Green Card holder.

What you will do
- Build new web-based systems from the ground up using a cloud-first Azure architecture.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Influence design decisions, overall architecture, and engineering ways of working.
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to define platform direction.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or Green Card holder (permanent residency).
- Must reside within 80 miles or 2 hours of Boston or Pittsburgh.
- Extensive experience in DevOps environments.
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong experience with C# and backend development.
- Experience building web applications with React or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or investment data.
- Knowledge of asset classes (equities, fixed income) and performance data structures.
- Experience with microservices or cloud-native design.
- Exposure to AI integrations or LLM-based applications.
