What you will do

• Design and evolve the enterprise AI governance framework to ensure responsible deployment across all operations and products.
• Establish scalable standards that balance innovation, risk management, and business value.
• Translate global AI regulatory developments into actionable guidance for delivery teams.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security leaders to align governance with organizational risk appetite.
• Support ISO/IEC 42001 readiness and continuous governance improvement activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor on AI-related risk, transparency, and data rights.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Significant experience leading governance, risk, compliance, or technology governance functions.
• Proven ability to design and implement governance frameworks within complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of emerging AI regulation, responsible AI principles, and technology risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholder groups including executive leadership.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical business guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing or leading AI governance or Responsible AI programs.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, GDPR, or the EU AI Act.
• Experience operating within healthcare, life sciences, or highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading governance councils or cross-functional decision-making forums.
